Marcia is an enigma.  She can be a quiet listener, a strong communicator, a determined educator, and a staunch advocator. Marcia set her career goals on becoming a collegiate professor.  She never imagined the wild ride she would take to get to that destination or even imagine not stopping once she obtained that goal.                  

Marcia earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her Masters of Business Administration in Management.

She is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Loan Officer.  As she traveled this journey, Marcia would work with and meet people from all walks of life that would be very instrumental in influencing the different facets of her career over the past 30 years.

Accounting has always been her strength but real estate is her passion.  While in Corporate America, Marcia was able to work with different companies and industries.  She started as an Accounting Intern while in college and continued on to become an Accounting Controller.  Marcia managed a tax office for several years. She taught as an adjunct professor and held an Assistant Dean position at a local college.   She currently volunteers as an AARP Tax-Aide.

Nevertheless, her desire to engage in a real estate career was irresistible.  The desire was strengthen even more as she met her soul-mate with a mutual affinity for real estate. They collaborated in both marriage and business with the goal of owning their own “One Stop” real estate shop.

As of 2006, that business collaboration became reality.  Flowers Realty opened its doors to the public and have since been able to provide traditional commercial and residential real estate and mortgage services, as well as educational seminars. Over the course of her career, Marcia has closed millions of dollars in real estate transactions.    

As of 2012, Flowers Realty was also able to showcase its talents in the great state of Illinois by opening an office there to offer our real estate services to our clients.   In 2018, Flowers Realty gave their mortgage division its own branding and identity as the Magnificent Mortgage Group (www.justgotaloan.com).

Marcia is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and Metrotex Association of Realtors, National Association of Mortgage Brokers, National Notary Association, National Association of Tax Professionals, and the Association of Professional Bookkeepers. Marcia is also an IRS Certified Tax Preparer and holds a VITA/TCE Certification.

As Marcia continues to strive to help others while fulfilling her life and career goals, her mantra is “Comprehension is more powerful than communication”…..
